We've added the 700 teu Werder Bremen to our weekly container shipping service between Portugal, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Holland.
Serving alongside City of Oporto, Werder Bremen replaces City of Lisbon in the service which offers fixed day calls at Lisbon (Fridays), Leixoes (Saturdays), Dublin (Tuesdays), Liverpool (Wednesdays), Greenock (Fridays) and Rotterdam (Mondays).
With 144 reefer plugs, Werder Bremen will support our increasing commitment to carrying fresh produce between Iberia and Northern Europe.
Upgrading the speed of the ships which operate our Portuguese service has been a priority. Werder Bremen is a faster ship that will help us ensure schedule integrity on the service.
With fixed-day sailings, our Portuguese service offers a level of frequency and reliability which shippers can rely on as their supply chains come under increased time pressures.
We have offered services to and from Portugal since the 19th Century and have our own agency subsidiary in Portugal with offices in Lisbon and Oporto. Offering full door-to-door services, the agency prides itself on its high quality customer services.
